WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO 2007: PREVIEW NIGHT
It appears that the Sandtrooper bunker is ready to host the ground assault phase of Sandblast 2007. With a prize vault stacked up like Jabba’s refrigerator the party is finally ready commence. As I managed to maneuver the traffic of the construction-infested freeways, it was nice to see the familiar faces of Recon Sgt. and our old friend Jedi Scholar8. We unloaded our cargo and set up the basic set up for our fortress. The ground prizes will be delivered tomorrow and we’ll be prepared to allow every convention guest a chance to win one of several prizes all weekend long. However we’re also going to promote another win-win opportunity for both the Troopers and another cause very dear to my heart.

Operation Mercy Mission will be a charity benefit for the Sturge-Weber Foundation. With a suggested donation of .50 cents, you can purchase another chance in our ground assault drawing. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to a disease that many people know very little about. We hope that this benefit will be well received, and we realize every little bit can help make a difference. I didn’t do too much in the way of recon work, as most the picture taking will be conducted tomorrow but I must say Mattel sure is making the most of Hasbro taking the zero on this show as they had a pretty impressive display. I’m looking forward to a great three days of unity and spreading the word about the greatest Star Wars collecting community in the galaxy! I’m looking forward to spending some time with our special guest tomorrow, as well as some of the other actors that will be on hand as well. Until tomorrow Troops, United We Find!
