THURSDAY, AUGUST 12, 2004 The staff members of Sandtroopers.com are preparing for their ground assault at the Rosemont Convention Center, where this year's Wizard World convention is being held. Staff members Wayne Roberts (reconsgt), David Syczylo (Boba Binks) and myself, will be staying at my house for the entire weekend. I only live about 30-40 minutes away, so it makes sense to try to save every dollar we can. We'll need that extra money so we can put it toward buying Star Wars collectibles. There wasn't much going on tonight. Wayne and David were here at my house before 6:00pm. We had dinner, talked about what will be taking place tomorrow and the rest of the weekend. I'll be getting my cameras ready by making sure batteries are fully charged, and that I have plenty of film available for my digital camcorder. I won't have to worry about the digital camera, because I have a 256mb Compact Flash memory card. We'll also sit down in my basement and look at my collection that I just recently put together. We'll be meeting up with Dan Eversdyk (Sandtrooper Dan) and Chris Spice (Darth Spice) tomorrow morning before Wizard World starts. The team will be together for the first time, with new members Wayne, David and myself. It will be my first time meeting Dan in person. It is going to be an historic day for Sandtroopers.com.
