MISSION OF PLATINUM & HEARTS OF GOLD
The fourth annual WE CARE event in Kokomo, Indiana is here.

This is my third time participating in this event. I loaded up the transport and picked up a Tusken Raider along the way who thinks that the cold is nothing. Pretty strange coming from someone who lives in the hot deserts of Tatooine. 

WE CARE is an event that the 501st Bloodfin Garrison participates in every year. The money is raised for those less fortunate that may not have a Christmas this year. A big thanks to Kokomo Comics located at 1201 17th Street Kokomo, IN. 46902 for always inviting the Bloodfin Garrison to participate out in front of the store.

Overall it was a great time had by all even though traffic came to a slow down for all the troopers standing out in the street collecting for those less fortunate. But that is ok, it is a pleasure to slow or stop traffic when it comes to helping others in need. As always the town of Kokomo was very hospitable and thanks to the kind and generous donations many will now have a Christmas that they would not otherwise be having.

To the troopers who participated this year a very big thank you to all of you who braved the cold for a few short hours. Also a big thank you to the support team.
