SUMMARY REPORT
It’s been one crazy weekend and I’ll have to say it was one of the most memorable for me. There were so many other interesting lines to look at outside of Star Wars, but I have to say one thing, none are better. I’m very happy to see that Star Wars is stronger than ever, and it’s getting hotter. I was pretty much impressed with the direction every single one is taking with the brand. I’ll say this much for Hasbro, it’s relieving to see they are listening to the fans and I really didn’t see too much rehash on display.

Sideshow, Gentle Giant, Attakus continue to amaze and astonish as their products continue to climb to the highest of quality levels. We even stumbled upon a vendor that was showcasing Star Wars Revell model kits! I can remember some of the vintage kits like the Dagobah set and the Darth Vader with breathing that I put together and destroyed as a kid. I was also knocked back but the impressive display Mini-Mag Stands had for us. These products are simply incredible. It’s just another case of pictures not doing the product justice, and truly something that you need to see in person. We can truly appreciate the business approach that Mr. Machado is employing. Being unique and putting out a whole new twist to a basic product is really something worth recognition.

In short, I think Star Wars fans have quite a bit to look forward to in the next few years. The products seem to be getting more creative and inventive with every turn. One thing I did notice is every one of the manufacturers actually seems to care about what the fans have to say. The only thing that fans will have to really figure out could be where to get all of the money to afford this hobby! However nearly two years after the last film, the line is hotter than ever. I was really impressed by a comment Mr. Lucas made the other night during his presentation as he thanked all of the retailers who make it all possible. Even though my couple minutes with him was very short, it was a time that this Trooper will never forget. I can’t express in words what it was like to shake the hand and thank “the maker” for all of this!
