KOTOBUKIYA
 Our appointments moved around and the kind folks at Darkhorse were
kind to offer a lot of insight as to what’s to come from our friends
at Kotobukiya. Therefore when we arrived at our appointment with
them, they were subjected to the barrage of questions from our
interrogation party but they wouldn’t confirm or deny our
information. After several minutes of round table discussion we
quickly could see our information was indeed correct. However we
wish to respect their wishes and subsequently agreed to only reveal
what they approved.
 With many compliments about our own
Kotobukiya guide here at Sandtroopers, I can only say collectors are really, REALLY going to
like what they’re doing with this line. Here is what I can tell you:
The next release will be the concept Maquarrie, which they were very
encouraged by the response they got online. Obi-Wan Kenobi and
General Grievous will soon follow and these will have interlocking
bases for display purposes. They were also kind enough to share
several of their photos that we will add to our coverage. The merger
with Corgi International will help boost this line and bring the
appeal of Kotobukiya models more mainstream. The key highlight might
have been the announcement of starting in July; the Kotobukiya
models will be coming out one per month. We do regret not being able
to share the Intel we obtained and once again I will only state,
people will love what they’re doing and I only see this line gaining
steam, not losing it.
