ATTAKUS AMERICA
Perhaps one of the more intriguing visits could have easily been at Attakus America. I will be one of the first to admit I’ve foolishly overlooked their products, mostly due to price but after seeing the entire line, I can’t describe in words how impressive the display was. Their statues are by far some of the more intricate in terms of detail, but one of the more appealing aspects is the editions are usually limited to 500 pieces. However the Sandtrooper (white pauldron) will have an edition size of 700. The photos simply do not do the products justice; these are truly something that needs to be seen with the naked eye.

Although the statues were a force to be reckoned with I’d have to say my favorite would have to be their metal collection. Any Star Wars collector can easily see they have the diorama construction well in hand and are doing things we could only dream about. The Millennium Falcon and Final Duel Corridor will leave you wishing you had a bucket under your mouth to catch the drool. The figures were also most impressive, although made of metal we were told they could still break! The figures were incredible and this Trooper could really appreciate the variety of poses they created with the Stormtroopers. Overall I’d say this is a product line that will be rising to the top in 2007, and if collectors give it a chance they’ll clearly see these are worth owning.
