THE LEGO
REPORT Tonight
I was able to get into the LEGO preview party, and this was not a
let down, not to mention open bar! The new Star Wars line for this
year will not disappoint at all. From Y-Wings, to AT-STs and the
mother of them all, the Millennium Falcon (over 5000 pieces), this
line just proves itself over and over again. Falcon creator and Star
Wars specialist (Yens) has been the lead developer for the Star Wars
LEGO for over nine years. As he spoke about the creation process,
you can tell his love not only for the LEGO portion, but for Star
Wars as well. I couldn't get him to give us any hints as to what
he's working on next, but from our conversation he is aiming to
please his fans. He tries to develop scenes and ships that haven't
been done before in other toy lines. Here's to a great 2007 for the
LEGO line with many more great years to follow.
