INTRODUCTION
Our
representative Obi-Sean from the Indianapolis Children’s Museum has
ask the local Bloodfin Garrison to come and troop. With honor and
pride members of the local garrison geared up and made their
presence at the museum once again.
Not only did the
Bloodfin Garrison troop as Sandtroopers, Snowtroopers, Tusken
Raiders and a Gamorrean Guard, there was also on hand the Emperor,
Commander Bly, Jango and his son Boba Fett along with Boushh as
well.
As always it is a
pleasure to be asked to troop the museum. It is an honor to keep
coming back and make not only the children but also the parents
smile as well. We all know that being a Star Wars fan is not just
for kids but the adults who have a place in their heart for it.
Along with the troopers
you could have also taken in Jedi Fitness that teaches kids the
importance of stay healthy and being fit. As Master Yoda would tell
you, “Fat and out of shape a Jedi is not!” Remember to eat healthy
and be active so you can take down the Sith.
Also
at the museum Lucasfilm has extended the Clone Wars exhibit until
September 2010. Earlier this year you will remember one of the
reports I made showcased this exhibit. At present time some items
have been removed such as Obi-Wan Jedi Starfighter from Episode II
and some props and costumes but do not worry other items have
replaced them. There is some new artwork from the Clone Wars such as
a nice digital painting of PreVizsla’s helmet. They also brought in
a robe from Chancellor Palpatine and Boba Fett’s outfit from Return
of the Jedi. There are some new Geonosian sculpts and weapons as
well. If you have the time I would highly recommend visiting the
museum and taking a look at this small yet wonderful exhibit.
