INTRODUCTION
Another Planet presents STAR WARS in concert...
Ok what can I really say that has not been said many times before about this concert? It is great, fantastic, amazing, out of this world, ect. Truly this show is a feast not only for the ears but for the eyes as well. As many know this is not just only a concert but it is a visual show as well. Plus there are some props, costumes, artwork and more on display for you to enjoy. Early in the afternoon my fellow 501st (Bloodfin Garrison) members and Rebel Legion (Mos Espa Base) members met up for lunch. After we hung out and figured what was going to be happening for the festivities at the Star Wars concert at the Conseco Fieldhouse we made our presence known as we arrived. You could not have missed us a bunch of people carrying in totes that contained our Star Wars costumes.

After being led to our changing rooms we stormed the fieldhouse and that is when the craziness of the picture taken began. Basically in a nutshell once we (costumed characters) found our place to be we did not move more than a few inches with all the people crowding in around us all wanting to take pictures. Hundreds if not thousands of pictures were taken of all of us who were in costume. One really memorable photo that was taken and I wish I could get a copy is that I was standing in my Snowtrooper outfit and felt something grab and hug my legs and I heard the crowd say "awwww". It was a little girl maybe around the age of three or four who came up to me and gave this Snowtrooper a hug. That is why we do stuff like this. To let people loose themselves in fantasy and to make people, especially children smile.

Anyways after a bit we had to go back to our changing rooms and get out of costume (if we wished) so we could go take our seats for the show. As I was sitting in my seat waiting for the show to start I noticed down on the floor area in front of me a person wearing a SANDTROOPERS.COM t-shirt. Thank you sir!

The fieldhouse went dark, conductor Dirk Brosse' walked onto stage as the audience applauded. You could feel the energy in the room with all the people who came to see and hear the music of Star Wars. Anthony Daniels (C-3P0) then took center stage and welcomed everyone as everyone applauded once again. The 20th Century fanfare started and then straight into the Star Wars theme thunderous applause filled the fieldhouse. Before each of the songs that were performed Anthony Daniels would tell a little bit about the theme and what was going on in the Star Wars universe. After the "Imperial March" there was a twenty-minute intermission. Of course some of us who were there trooping once again mingled with the crowd during intermission. After intermission the concert resumed. Once again Anthony Daniels talked a little bit before each song and at one time got a little cocky with himself or um I should say C-3P0 and the conductor turned and looked at Anthony Daniels as if he was saying you are so full of it and the entire place went up in laughter. After the main songs for the second half were all performed Anthony Daniels asked if we wanted one more song. Of course we did. Once again probably the most famous of Star Wars songs was played one more time, the "Imperial March" which ended in applause.

After the lights went up, everyone started to clear out of the Conseco Fieldhouse. As we, the troopers were packing up some of us tried to go around and see the various items that were on display. Did not get a chance to get many pictures but from what others and I got to see was worth it. It was a shame we could not get to see the Imperial items on display since they had a line that was capped off. Besides we were not there to look at things we were there to bring the magic and fantasy to life from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

I want to send out a very big thank you to all the troopers and especially the handlers for taking care of us, you did one fantastic job of keeping everyone safe and secure with such a large crowd.
