IT'S ALL ABOUT THE DETAILS
Steve Dynszo led the Master Replicas panel discussion. After about 15 minutes of technical difficulties the presentation started.

2006 will give us:

  • AT-AT
  • Snowspeeder
  • Shocktrooper
  • Blue Anakin
  • Star Core Trooper (orange/yellow striped armor)

In November the Obi-Wan elite saber will be available (see picture).

Currently in prototype productions are:

  • Boba Fett’s Blaster
  • Millennium Falcon
  • Y-Wing (studio scale)

For those of us who missed the original run of the Mace Windu saber and the ROTJ Luke green blade saber, truly great news. These will be available again in the fall! We will also be seeing an Obi-Wan EpIII lightsaber mid-year 2006.

Master Replicas would love to make many products that the fans have been requesting but some of them are simply too difficult to make, not cost effective or there are no original props from which to mold them. They are however trying there best to make it happen. The prototype is almost complete for the Darth Maul double bladed damaged lightsaber. This will come as a single saber that can be joined with another to make the double blade (yes, you will have to buy two).

A major fan request has been for an FX Stunt type saber (ala parks). So MR has been listening and is eager to create a detachable blade stunt saber priced around $70.00! Yeah! Sorry... doing the happy dance.

Other projects MR is working on include:

  • Chewbacca’s Bowcaster
  • Han Solo’s ANH Holster
  • FX Yoda and Palpatine sabers
  • Create your own lightsaber kit

I can’t wait to see all these new products. Guess we’ll all have to start saving up our pennies!
