DAY 1:
SANDTROOPERS INVADE INDY

saddled up this afternoon for a long trek to Gen Con in Indianapolis
Indiana today. Never before have I been introduced to such
an immense world of gaming. Read on to find out more about my first
day...
There
were games galore here at the Indianapolis Convention Center. Guild
Wars, Hero Clix, Vs., and many, many more games were strewn about
the convention center. There were games I had not even ever seen or
heard of! I even spied a life-sized chessboard with human pieces! In
the larger rooms there were players already hard at work trying to
become the champion of their game. Models were built to house the
games, teams were formed and represented. In the Exhibitors hall,
Star Wars was represented by Gentle Giant, who sold their absolutely
beautiful Mara Jade bust. This piece is gorgeous, and this Trooper
is going to have to get himself one! Other merchants were selling
all kinds of gaming parts, from tokens, to pieces, to dice, to
