DVD MADNESS
At the stroke of Midnight on September 21st 2004 over 500 plus fans turned out to score the Original Trilogy on DVD at the Chicagoland area Best Buy. The Midwest Garrison was on hand to make sure everyone was ‘moving along’ and with over 2000 copies the store was in good shape to not have a full-scale riot on their hands. Local radio station Q101 was on hand and they held a trivia contest with some pretty nifty prize packs including the new XBOX HD and the first 50 people in line received a Battlefront T-Shirt courtesy of Lucasfilm. Even though my five year-old daughter could have answered the questions it was still pretty interesting to see people fluster and blow easy questions! Overall a very beautiful night packed deep with many Star Wars collectors.
