CHILDREN'S
MUSEUM INDIANAPOLIS, IN
It is nearing the end of the 2009-year and the Clone Wars exhibit at the
Children's Museum of Indianapolis will be ending sometime in 2010. That means the Jedi Starfighter will be taking off for its next destination along with everything on display so you may want to schedule a time for yourself and your family and friends to come see the exhibit before it becomes one with the Force. If you have not seen what the Clone Wars exhibit is about please look at the review I did of the exhibit earlier this year.
To kick off the end of the year festivities the local 501st Bloodfin Garrison was again asked to partake in the
museums' Star Wars Saturdays event. Once again this trooper could not don armor while still dealing with the reconstructed knee but that did not stop me from attending and being a handler and taking a few pictures of the members of the dedicated Bloodfin Garrison who came and trooped in various Star Wars outfits from the Original Star Wars
Trilogy.
You could come and meet them and even have your picture taken with them. There was a Stormtrooper, Sandtrooper, Snowtrooper, Boushh and even a friendly Tusken Raider. Not only were there Star Wars characters there were also the Jedi Fitness and Yoda Yoga programs. Both are great ways to learn a little bit about staying healthy and staying fit like a Jedi. It was a good time had by all the Star Wars fans that come to make Star Wars Saturdays such a big hit at the museum. Do not worry if you missed out today there are plans in the works for another Star Wars Saturday or two coming up in the future. Thank you to the
Children's Museum of Indianapolis for always inviting the Bloodfin Garrison back to troop and help make your events such a success. It is always a pleasure. Until next time please enjoy some photos of the November 14, 2009 Star Wars Saturday at the
Children's Museum of Indianapolis. May The Force Be With You.
