The
second part of my tour of duty would be the convention known as
Creation Weekend. This show will be showcasing the finest in Sci-Fi
this weekend as Star Wars, Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica all
have designated days. The guests include Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett)
and Doug Wangler (Quinlan Vos) who were on hand for Star Wars
Friday. 
I was a little shocked to learn the 501st Legion must have been held
up in traffic on I-90 because we were a little thin. It was still
plenty of fun to suit up and take a few photos ops with the people
who were continuing to stroll in as the afternoon progressed. I had
a chance to bump into former fan club president Dan Madsen who was a
special guest at the booth set up by The Force Among Us. I also
stopped by a few of the vendors and admired what was for sale.
Overall the show traffic was somewhat slow but I figured it would
seeing it was Friday afternoon and most people weren’t off work.
I’m not sure if I’ll be going back for the festivities the rest of
the weekend but this was just another thing you might want to check
out in case you were in the surrounding area. Mr. Bulloch is such a
gentleman and it was truly a delight to see him once again. I also
sat in on a Q & A segment with Doug Wangler, and Justin Chung, which
I for the most part did my best to heckle Master Vos during the
session! Everyone knows I fear no Jedi, even the ones who pack heat!
What a day of double duty, as I was pretty exhausted from two stints
in armor. To do my duty, serve the Legion and love the hobby. All
worth any of the trouble for a great days work.
