DAY 2 REPORT: PASSING THE TORCH
Darth Spice in total control.Hey Troopers! I spent a majority of the day away from being Darth Spice and being Darth Daddy. I dropped off a shipment at Federation Toys for distribution to help eliminate some of the confusion as to where the Sandtrooper T-Shirts were being sold. We are trying to recoup some of the expenses and possibly produce another run when we return to Wizard World this summer.

I got in line first thing and noticed Jawa forum member Jedi Chirp just ahead of me. It was quite a line but only about an hour and a half wait to score four, much better than the seven hour wait time as I had been told by some people. The figure is definitely worth having and they really did a good job this time around. An exclusive that is quite special.

I made my way out of there and met up with my wife and children and spent the day mostly checking out the costumes. I did not go to the Rick McCallum showing of the new Revenge of the Sith, but since there was so much spoiled already I opted against it. I was also not too keen on standing in any more lines. Today was a lot better than yesterday. It seemed more orderly and tranquil. There is much trouble with the distribution of the Vader, why would you have thirty thousand people with so few registers? I thought Gen Con was brought in to make this event run smoother but I am not seeing it thus far. Although there were not people waiting to get in two hours after the show started today.

Amanaman Dan's DioramaI met up with Amanaman Dan and headed out for the Diorama room to check out the latest work in person. I couldn’t have been more proud, as it’s one of the finer dioramas on display! We were completely blown away, and Y-Wing Yager really hooked him up proper with all the different custom figures. It really stood out. After that I spent the latter part of the afternoon watching my Padawans participate in the Jedi Training Academy, which was also located near the diorama section. I rounded out the day taking a list of autographs which I will pursue tomorrow.

I’m still undecided for Sunday. It was a much better day than the previous two, mostly because I had the ones who are closest to me with me all day long. So far so good, I will continue to update tomorrow. I’m actually uncertain about attending the Lucas fiasco due to the fact people are lining up for it in the rain at eleven o’clock this evening. I’m getting burned out on lines and walking slow. It’s not like the official site won’t have this one covered. However I will try to get there. Until tomorrow, same Troop time, same Troop channel!
